big thighs big hips need to go!so I was lucky to have only gained 16 lbs. when I was pregnant with Amandah. I really watched what I ate and I would walk a lot because it was nice and warm outside. after having Amandah I lost the 16 lbs. plus another 24 lbs. a total of 40 lbs. I was not exercising or watching what I ate. I think I lost weight because of the "new life" I had. it was really hard getting used to 2 kids being in school and getting out at different times and a new born who needed this and that. I would forget to eat and believe it or not, sometimes I just didn't have time to sit and eat a complete meal. I was (still am) eating one meal a day and having 2 or 3 snacks during the day. I know this isn't healthy so I am starting to MAKE TIME for me. I am going to start eating a good breakfast, making sure I have a yummy lunch and eating a small dinner before 6 p.m. this week I also decided to give up SUGAR and BREAD, I had way TOO MUCH during the holidays. wish me luck, I really need it! I love my Coke (soda) and believe you me, it will be hard giving it up! oh and I am also starting to walk again. NEW HEALTHY LIFE here I come ... slowly very slowly but surely! wow ... just thinking about all this seems tiring! I am busier than ever these days and thinking about finding time for a walk/jog is hard. but it's like they say ... take care of yourself first so you can be the best mom, wife, friend etc. (or something like that!)
No manches!!! You better not get all skin and bones, that's ugly. I've seen some girls and they look sick not at all healthy.

You can do it, Mama! Its so important to be healthy for your family and for yourself. But don't let it get the best of you! You are still hot and an amazing mother! Doorly
